The In Between

I watched my daughter sit on a ledge of a stone building almost 500 years old. She looked out onto the newness of the green growing around her. As I reflected on this stage of life- sitting on the edge of the unknown and looking out- I couldn't help but think on the similarities of this in between stage of life.
